4 week class $300, and $50 for supplies

Overview

Each student will learn the basics to completely build and

Mosaic their Pothead Pal Sculpture!

-Class 1-

Demonstrate the process from start to finish. Review process, tape structure and mesh bottom,

begin planning of design with chosen materials and discuss possible options

-Class 2-

Finish taping and concrete your pothead. Mist and cover

-Class 3-

Mosaic and embellish your Pothead.

Take home to finish mosaic.

-Class 4-

Grout and clean your pothead.

Note: Additional Class for additional $25 will be

available, if needed, on Tuesday, April 6, 30.

 

Workshop

-Foundation building process: foam, adding elements, glue, taping, stapling, mesh bottom. –
-Concrete 101: formula, slurry, concrete and sanding-
-Mosaic materials, adhesives, embellishing-
-Grouting /Cleaning, Colorants –

What You’ll Need

-Ideas, photos and images for your Pothead Pal-
-Old towels or rags for use in clean up and grouting (last class)-
-Apron, face mask for mixing concrete and grout, and tile nippers if you have them-
-For the 3rd class, Old dishes and jewelry, glass pieces, glass globs, shells, beads,pebbles, marbles, etc-

What We Have

-Foam core of pothead and shoulders already constructed to build upon and
additional foam to add features.-
-All safety supplies- including gloves protective glasses.-
-Nippers to use, tapes, concrete, staples, mesh, mosaic supplies, adhesive, grout,
colorants, polymer additives.-
-Mosaic supplies up to 16 oz, additional mosaic pieces can be purchased for a fee
from instructor or beautiful glass pieces from This Little Light Glass studio-

Have Fun With It!

Most work can be accomplished during the class.
If after class 3 you do not have the mosaic work finished you can take it home and finish or you can add an additional class to this schedule to make it a 5
week class for an additional $25
This class is limited to 6 participants to enable all to have individual attention and answer beginners
questions, and provide social distance.
